There was an attack on the Yoruba rights activist house, Sunday Adeyemo (also known as Ighoho), in the early hours of Thursday, 1st July 2021, around 1 am, at the Soka area of Ibadan, Oyo state Nigeria.
According to the reports, there were gigantic numbers of soldiers in military uniform, including international terrorists who surrounded the house, shooting sporadically and killed some people.
That is brutal.
Some of the invaders were speaking french language.
One of the women in Sunday Ighoho’s house immediately went on the Facebook live broadcast to give awareness to Nigerians.
The leader of the umbrella body of Yoruba self-determination groups, Ilana Omo Oodua, Professor Banji Akintoye, Aare Gani Adams and most Nigerians have condemned such injustice and tyrannical style of governance.
Professor Banji also expressed that all the assailants were dressed in military uniform and spoke french fluently.
He added that they killed some people and took away their bodies, damaged properties, a fleet of cars, and abducted Sunday Ighoho’s wife amongst others.
