Why do we wish our mothers a happy mother’s day?

I am sure some people are not clear why mothers seems to be treated specially on a day like this,  especially in March?  They celebrate mothers as a way to  honour  all mothers, those with maternal bonds, mothers of the family  and mothers who are like role role model.  As far as I am concerned,  mothers should always be appreciated and loved each day when you consider the ache, pains and responsibilities they combat each day. Not even adding childbearing, nurturing, domestic chores, you can imagine how hectic? Yes, let’s wish our mothers a very happy day. What are you doing for your mum to make her happy?  We will never be with them forever considering  they will grow old and return to their maker. We have a duty to look after our mothers. 

Let’s use today to mark a special point.  Girls and women should be educated,  empowered and respected. 

Women stop being like antagonists towards any woman! 

Women should learn to rise up and use their voices to protect each other instead of gossiping or hating.  We will go a long way if we network, interact and support each other.  

Who is a  mother? 

A mother obviously is the opposite gender of male, who bears babies,  nurture and feed them.  A mother is compassionate,  considering and she cares for all children not just hers.  Sadly,  some die before their time, some are abused sexually at a tender age, some found themselves in incestuous relationship with their fathers or uncles and some deprived of education and all basic amenities. Let’s help those type of women.

 Mothers are specially created to care for everyone. I care about you all. This is time to appreciate all those good mothers around the globe . Happy mother’s day.
