In 1960, Nigeria gained independence. In 1901, it was a British protectorate until 1960. Nigerians did enjoy the advantage of independence in the 1970s and 1980s.
Is Nigeria dying or rising?
Let those words sink in. 180 million people are without regular and steady power. No treated water. No roads. No flush toilets. Hunger is prevalent. Food is expensive. Salaries are not being paid as at due or not paid at all. 
Ritual killings for money, unemployment, poverty, delayed and denied justice, corruption, kidnapping, abduction, armed robbery, failed education system, failed healthcare system, insecurity, hopelessness, and fear of tomorrow, and much more are the trademarks of Nigeria. This is where I grew up. This is where my family lives. This is my home. Nigeria is dying! Click.
With the healthcare system in intensive care, hospitals are in shambles. No drugs, no water, no beds, no doctors, no nurses, no ambulance. Healthcare has collapsed. Fake drugs are killing millions. Auto accident victims have no place to receive treatment. Old and infirm senior citizens are dropping dead like lifeless fig trees. Pregnant women are dying in droves during childbirth.
Message for President Buhari, the government is operating as if everything is normal. One would have expected President Buhari to use his medical treatment abroad as a lesson and incentive to 
resuscitate the comatose healthcare system. Like in all areas, he missed the opportunity to revamp the health sector.
President Buhari should consider the healthcare system in Nigeria as an emergency case. Indeed, it’s an emergency case. He should speedily and swiftly solve the problem.
